Vessels come to Al Hidd for planned dockings, class surveys and breakdown repair. Each package is specified with the owner, engaged directly with the attending surveyor, and worked round the clock until the vessel is back on hire.
The projects below are a sample. Further work across new building, afloat repairs and offsite services is published here as it is released for reference.
Hauled out on the slipway for full hull treatment. Corroded steel plate was removed and renewed, the hull was blasted back to bare steel and recoated, and the vessel was returned to service on programme.
The most mechanically involved of the three. Alongside the steel and coating works, the propulsion system was stripped and repaired and the vessel's valves were overhauled before re-launch.
Docked on the slipway cradle for hull treatment and structural steel renewal, then blasted and repainted to specification before returning to the water.
